"You may be surprised to know that most apps travelers use are not 'travel apps' at all." This is true; Jibbigo is used for business, medical, and other domains, as well as by travelers and tourists. So whether you are out and about for business or pleasure, check out Jibbigo and the other useful apps at Plango's Travel Apps We Love.
Great new article! "Fortunately, if you don’t speak a word of French and are planning a trip to see the Mona Lisa, or if you regularly need simultaneous interpretation in a work setting, Jibbigo can make your life easier." Read the rest.
Thank you Main Device for ranking Jibbigo #1 in their list of Top Ten Mobile Translators. Citing Jibbigo's offline translation capabilities, they call us "One of the most appreciated apps." Aww, shucks, we feel the love!
I am often asked for device recommendations for Jibbigo. Many users want to take advantage of our app's offline capabilities by running it on a non-contract, non-phone device. The easiest and cheapest option for Apple is the iPod Touch 4th Generation. For Android, it is the Samsung Galaxy Tablet. If you are buying the device just to run Jibbigo, you can get the smallest of either. If you want an Apple Tablet, you may want to try the iPad 2. For an unlocked Android handheld, check out the Galaxy S II (unfortunately, there is nothing like the iPod Touch on Android). Jibbigo has been extensively tested on all these devices. Click below for more information or to purchase, and have fun wherever you're Jibbigoing!
Jibbigo was mentioned in AOL's travel blog about apps for travelers who can't get online. "For those times when you want to communicate with locals but can't speak the language, this voice translator allows you to speak in English into the device and have your words spoken back to you in the language of your choice."
